Beyond Bhopal - The Inquiry

Indira Jaising has represented the victims of the Bhopal tragedy in the Supreme Court of India in their claim for compensation against the American multinational Union Carbide Corporation.

Mahesh Buch joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1957. Thereafter he has held a number of senior posts under the state government in the State of Madhya Pradesh and in the federal government.

Ms Chandana Chakrabarti , presently Director, Sukriti, a consultancy organisation, was for a decade with the e for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad , an internationally renowned basic research laboratory of the CSIR. She played a crucial role in the building of CCMB along with its founder Dr PM Bhargava. With over a 100 major articles published in well-known magazines, newspapers and books published in India and abroad, she wrote a weekly column for the Deccan Chronicle, Andhra Pradesh's largest circulating daily.

Dr Trivedi is an advisor to the Sambhavna Trust articulating the issues that face the India health care system and hope those issue effect the Sambhavna Clinic. We meet up with Dr Trivedi at his clinic in Bhopal.
